ABOUT THE DOGLADY
Denise has owned and loved dogs her entire life. Through training and raising German Shepherds,she was told time and time again by her friends and family she had a gift with dogs. So she left a career in insurance to devote herself full-time to caring for dogs. She has volunteered for dog rescue, MSPCA and has two rescued dogs of her own. She has lived in Sandwich for twenty years and has been coried by the Town of Sandwich and Popwarner. She is certified by the Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR.
When she isn't caring for her client's dogs, Denise can usually be found in her backyard playing with her beloved dogs Cosmo and Lilly.

Denise believes that love, praise and correct discipline are the best incentive to dogs learning what is expected of them. She strongly advocates and practices methods used by the famous Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan.
She has rehabilitated a severely abused dog herself and knows how love can motivate any dog to learn.
Her own dog was rescued after being with an owner who had duct-taped his mouth shut and broke his legs. Cosmo is now happy, relaxed and well behaved in his new home with the DogLady of Sandwich.
